It is indisputable the great challenge that educational institutions and those who are part of
them face when taking on the challenge of building teaching models, pedagogies and curricula in
accordance with the needs of a world that remains in constant movement and for this reason is
shown to be veiled and indecipherable. Within this vertigo, however, issues of mandatory and
immediate attention emerge and that indicate the route that we must follow from universities and
public and private institutions and that have been established by the so-called 2030 Agenda.
It is urgently required that we promote innovation, sustainable education and creativity,
“to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.” Among the issues
that we believe to be extremely sensitive and to which we aim without hesitation, is the
search for a curriculum oriented towards the generation of new knowledge, respect for all
human beings and the promotion of an eco-sustainable economy. In this sense, we propose an
epistemological, pedagogical and methodological discourse that encompasses interdisciplinary,
transdisciplinary and intercultural currents and perspectives in the search for a more
humanistic, inclusive, sustainable and respectful education of the ethnocultural.
In this sense, we present this selection of works from volume 9, #2., corresponding to the
month of July-December 2024.
