Abstract

The study highlights the importance to identify the republican laws created because the army widows and the pension system between the 20’s and middle XIX century. This factor is be compare with the practice of the law by actors whom claim their pension rights, whether this came from “montepío” or the national treasury. The study claim that the state made through the configuration of a system that sought protect the widows of officers, chiefs and general, but at the same built the ideal of that civil state.
