Orlando Fals’ thought regarding the political role in social movements

We think about Fals Borda's theses it brings over of gesticulates politician of the social movements in our countries, key reflection at this moment in that "the channels of political organization are being addressed. The direct democracy exercised by the social mobilized actors questions the representative democracy". We propose an evolution of Fals's thought, that though it led it in a moment of his reflection to raising that the social movements could replace the political parties and to give him a new dynamics to the politics that was overcoming the historical deficiencies of oligarchical parties, clientelistas and generating of violence, later it desisted from the above mentioned exposition, only that insisting on the political paper of the social movements.Author Biography
