Revisión sobre la evolución del derecho de gentes al derecho internacional

The evolution of the Law of Nations into public International Law seeks to achieve a certain compatibility between the moral norms of different peoples and nations by embodying common principles and rules in international legal agreements. However, this is a complex process due to the diversity of legal systems, cultural values and political priorities existing worldwide.
This evolution of law reflects this duality between morality and law in the various legal systems that seek a harmonization between legal norms and ethical values. As society develops, these ethical principles continue to influence the interpretation and development of International Law, seeking, between legality and ethical justice, a balance in a changing global context.
This highlights the capacity of the legal system to reflect changes in society's needs and values, the product of external factors, such as historical events, dominant philosophies and changes in social morality, which have played a primary role in the evolution of law, shaping laws and contributing to the formation of diverse legal systems useful in different contexts of application.
The transformation of Public International Law from the Law of Nations has the purpose of achieving concordance between the moral norms of diverse communities and nations, through the establishment of international legal pacts that enshrine shared principles and rules, reflecting the dichotomy between morality and law, however, reconciling legal norms and ethical values, which is why they play an essential role in the configuration of modern legal systems.
