Abstract

Knowledge of the Yoruba and Bantu traditions is present in Brazilian society. This had resulted of indelible stain of slavery. So far way of their land, without the right to bring anything, African people still just rebuilt, with the knowledge that was printed on their bodies, new knowl- edge and territoriality in Brazil. From this ancestral heritage, we propose in this paper to analyze how the poets Aloísio Resende and Solano Trindade do the African worldview widespread in can- domblé’s community a poetic proposal which is against the hegemonic aes- thetic. Thus, we compared  the  poems of the two writers with the aim of under- standing the language that reinvents the space of ancestry.
