Abstract

This paper addresses as main theme “abuse of power or abuse of authorithy” based mainly on primary sources as the case file “Sampués Indian: cause to be followed for murder, Sampués 1790-1794” The General Archive of the Nation. This issue is discussed about what happened between ordinary mayor Juan De Dios Corrales and the Indian Tomás Tarra, in the villaje of Sampués between the years 1790-1794.
